Unification is not integration

Unification and Integration are the two words we always use interchangeably. However, they are not the same.

A unified physical security platform can make your systems act as one, also saying that it brings all of the sources of data seamlessly together within one single interface. While the integrated physical security platform is made up of connections and the integrated systems are siloed, if one connection breaks, it can affect all the others.

If an organization has plans to add new security technologies, an open architecture that offers flexibility is necessary.
